. Maxtone Energy Refinery was founded in September 2014 on the territory of one of the major oil and gas producing constituents of the kazakhstan where most of kazakhstan oil (64%) and natural gas (91%) reserves are concentrated.

Today, Maxtone Energy Refinery is a modern, open, dynamic company heavily investing in the construction of new and upgrading of existing facilities and planning a diversified development of the production base in central kazakhstan, to improve the efficiency of natural resources utilization and increase the production of petroleum products, meeting the highest quality standards, by implementing the most cutting edge deep conversion processes.

Our main activities include prospecting and exploration of hydrocarbon deposits, oil, gas and gas-condensate production, upstream offshore projects, processing, as well as oil, gas, and product marketing in kazakhstan and abroad.

ME Refinery key objectives are the reserve replacement ratio at a minimum level of 100%, effective production at brownfields, and production increase through the development of greenfields, creation of new production clusters on the shelf, development of technologies, and implementation of high-level project management practices, monetization of gas reserves and competitive production growth, optimal configuration of the refineries and maximization of profits in distribution. Company’s successful performance in 2016 is evidence of the efficiency of the applied strategy and the significance of our priorities.
